THE FLAG
The Indian flag was
designed in three colors of equal proportions. Saffron is at the top, white in
the middle, and green in the bottom. Also called Tiranga, it was created during
a meeting of the Constituent Assembly on July 22, 1947, less than a month
before India's independence from Britain. The flag is also the flag of the
Indian Army.
The official lenguages in India are Hindi and English ; the religions in India are, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism.
The people in India use to greet
the word NAMASTE and they use the hands in
front of chest, it is inappropriate to kiss or hug between people of different
sexes, but it is normal between people of the same sex.
In Indian tradition, it has
always been a habit to adorn the forehead with different signs and symbols with
different shapes and purpose. This is called bindi or tika. The oldest practice consist
in make up with ash. Ash is a sacred
element symbolizing renunciation of the world. It means,that it´s used as a symbol that the woman is
married or engaged, or simply as an ornament so devotees make up her forehead
or may even cover their whole body. You can have many shapes and colors depending
on your imagination. Can be color sari or dress, teardrop shaped,
diamond circle
Most women in india
wearing a garment called sari, which is the typical national dress and
is it placed around the waist and over the shoulders or head.
The sari is made of silk or very
fine cotton. with bright colors and beautiful embroidery. It can be one color, or
decorated with flowers, or embroidered with gold thread, and can end in tasseled
edges and lace.
It is very common to see
some men in the crowd wearing a large turban and a beard. Those who dress like
that are the Sikhism, which is one of the religions of India.

Delhi, the capital , it has
a varied architecture where skyscrapers are combined with many traditional
buildings . There, you can go shopping in Silver Street and also take a tour of
the museums and forts.
Taj- Mahal
In the city of Agra, you will
be pleased to visit the Taj -Mahal. Aformer monument with a unique style,
symbol of eternal love. The mausoleum is surrounded by large rectangular
gardens, reflecting pools and fountains. they have a perfect symmetry.
Varanasi
In Varanasi, one of the
main pilgrimage centers, you can enjoy bathing in the Ganges.

India has beaches to relax. located south of India. Which have spas where you can enjoy a irresistible massage
sessions to revitalize your body and mind.
-The Raita is a cold
sauce that is typical in the Indian cuisine. Although Raita is sometimes
used as an entree or salad. Also used as seasoning for other dishes of Indian
cuisine.
-The curd, known in other
countries as milk curd. Is one of the essential ingredients of the cuisine of
India . The curd is used in the India as a base for vegetarian dishes and to
lower the level of seasoning and spices in some food.
-The Chapati is a flat
Indian bread (similar to pita bread). The Chapati is usually used as a
replacement fork since it allows to catch food. Also is used as an accompaniment
to soup.
-Samosa Vegetaria
This dish is like a
filled mass tuber and other vegetables, is seasoned with different
spices, and accompanied by a fresh chickpea dip. It is very popular in India as
an input.
-The lassi is a
typical soft drink in India. Based lean homemade yogurt with mango . The lassi
is the most refreshing.
Lassi to keep the body
cool as this evaporates and is absorbed by the body more quickly, It can be
taken with honey, mango, strawberry, and even the drink has spices. This time
with cardamon seed.
